Comprising
the golfing counties of Antrim, Down, Donegal and Sligo as well
as some great options in Co. Derry, Cavan and Monoghan the North
of Ireland offers the visiting golfer every imagineable challenge
from Championship Links to great golf resort hotels. Most famous
perhaps for the Royals of Co. Down and Portrush the area is well
endowed with some other superb Links courses from Ardglass in County
Down to Ballycastle in north east Antrim then heading west through
the Causeway Coast into Donegal and ending splendidly on Sligo's
rugged Atlantic Coast.
With low cost flights
available to Belfast, Derry and Knock Airports from the UK the
region is more accessible than ever and of course the increase
in Fast Ferries makes a sailing via Belfast or Dublin an attractive
proposition. We believe we have the widest selction of golf breaks
in the north of Ireland and can assure that you wont be disappointed
with the quality or value of the courses available.
Easy
access to Belfast by air and sea make it an ideal destination
for a golf society or as a base for touring. The area has
a great range of quality courses in the vicinity of the
city including the wonderful Royal Belfast with all its
history...
The
area is famous throughout the golfing world for its annual
Black Bush amateur tournament played over Castlerock, Portstewart,
Ballycastle and Portrush. If this wasn't enough try the
new layout at Galgorm Manor or a couple of the courses on
the Antrim Coast road...
"Where
the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea...."
and what golfer has seen the photograph of Royal County
Down proving the words of the song. From north to south
Co. Down has golf courses in abundance. Co. Down needs little
introduction...
Increasingly
popular - particularly with Scottish Club Golfers - the
north west coast of Ireland provides perfect links land
with some stunning locations. From Ballyliffen on the Inishowen
Peninsula down to Strandhill and Enniscrone there is probably
the best value quality links golf in Ireland.
Not
the first thought for golfing in Ireland perhaps but offers
some excellent opportunites for your short break. Either
stay in the city itself or try the excellent golf resort
at Limivady - both make access to the county's courses easy...
The
border counties are increasingly marketing their golf product
and there are some great courses on offer in the area. Our
two favourite options would include a couple of days stay
in the hotels of Nuremore or Slieve Russell...
