For information on the 2002 Ayrshire Golf Classic please click on the link below

This will be the second year for "The Ayrshire" having been launched for the Millennium. The four courses offer a superb range of championship standard golf. The main attraction as always is the wonderful Open Championship Ailsa Course at Turnberry which was supported this year by the Open Qualifying Courses at Barassie and Glasgow Gailes (Irvine). The superb parkland course at Belleisle in Ayr made up the fourth member. The Ayrshire Golf Classic takes place immediately before The Open Championship in the second week of July and makes for an ideal part of a tour of Scotland.

Direct flights are available into Prestwick in the heart of Ayrshire from Dublin and Stansted as well as France and Germany. Fast ferries sail into Troon from Ireland. By road Glasgow is about forty minutes and Edinburgh is less than two hours. Direct rail connections from Glasgow are available.

A range of all inclusive accommodation packages are available for all of the Scottish Golf Classics at a selection of quality hotels. For further information on hotels, flights, ferries or car hire call: 0800 027 1070 for any of the Scottish Golf Classics events. Alternatively, e-mail us at: info@celticlinks.co.uk
