Glasgow,
Edinburgh, Loch Lomond & Trossachs, Lothians & Borders,
and Perthshire. Its quite an area to describe as
Central Scotland but much of it is all within an hour of the central
point so we couldnt really break it up. Central Scotland
provides probably the greatest diversity of destination and activity.
From the city breaks in the Festival City of Edinburgh or the
shopping paradise that is the revitalised Glasgow to the quieter
Stirling and its Braveheart connections to the more rural locations
of East Lothian and the Borders or Perthshire and of course not
forgetting the wonders of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs how do
you select where to go. Well hopefully the pages below will offer
a few alternatives and well always offer more advice on
whats on at any one time. Regular concert breaks, arts festivals
and sporting events abound giving a whole host of more good reasons
to visit.
Enjoy
five star luxury at Gleneagles or Edinburghs Caledonian
or stay and play in some excellent golfing hotels or country inns.
City or country, the choice is yours.
