Described
as a pugnacious little course in some literature It has been described
as a hidden gem as its holes change from parkland to semi parkland
to links and back again.
The 5th hole is
perhaps the most scenic with the backdrop of the Ailsa Craig,
an extinct volcanic rock in the Clyde Estuary and half way between
Glasgow And Belfast and commonly refereed to by locals as Paddys
Milestone. Access to the course is easy and well signposted before
entering the town of Girvan.
