The
Kings Manor has 67 bedrooms. All are tastefully furnished
and have:en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV and radio,
direct dial telephone,
hairdryer and
hospitality tray.
Whilst all the rooms are of sufficient standard to be graded
at 3-star 65% some of the rooms are a little larger and
these are graded as superior. They also have a selection
of rooms that provide an even higher standard of furnishings
and are amongst the largest rooms in the hotel.
The
Kings Manor has two main bars and two restaurants. The Cocktail
Bar is a warm and welcoming room in the heart of the hotel,
in what was once 'Mother Superior's office' in the days
when the hotel was a convent. It offers a good range of
beers and spirits and is popular for a drink before dinner
or for setting the world to rights late at night over a
few well-chosen malt whiskies.
The
BarZest is an altogether different atmosphere where 'locals'
and hotel guests mix in a bright contemporary bar. Glass-fronted
with outside seating areas and a range of barfood, BarZest
has a lively atmosphere. It is open all day.
