Haddington
Golf Club boasts a long established parkland course, extending
to 6317 yards, incorporated within the boundaries of a former
country estate. Despite being easily accessible from the A1, the
course is set in peaceful walled surroundings with the River Tyne
on its northern edge.
The course
has a number of natural features, including many mature trees,
as well as much indigenous wildlife. It is set in 130 undulating
acres of meadow land and is invariably presented in pristine condition.
The 15th (tree
lined to the right with the River Tyne to the left) is a particularly
fine par 4 requiring two well struck shots to set up the chance
of a par. A welcome and good food awaits the visitor in the friendly
environment of the clubhouse.
