Relax
and enjoy the comforts of The Crusoe Hotel. This family run
hotel offers a range of single, double or twin rooms as well
as two suites, all of which have ensuite facilities, and are
equipped with remote control colour television, hairdryer,
trouser press, teas and coffee making facilities and self
dial telephone.
Due
to the unique location, on the seafront of the historic
village of Lower Largo many of our rooms have uninterrupted
views over Largo Bay, with other rooms overlooking the hotel
pier and harbour.
The
Castaway Restaurant offers an extensive a la carte menu,
where the chef takes advantage of the finest fresh local
ingredients from lobster landed daily at the pier to prime
Perthshire beef. The menu changes daily so you're sure to
be spoiled for choice.
The
Crusoe Bar is open daily to resident and non-residents,
and has a well stocked bar with a varied selection of beers
and real ales - which with friendly staff adds to the charm
that awaits you. The Olde Worlde ambience with beamed ceilings
and ever changing views of the harbour make it a favourite
place to relax.
Lower
Largo is the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, the castaway
sailor whose adventures were immortalised by Daniel Defoe
in the story of Robinson Crusoe.
Today
the charm of Largo Bay remains unchanged in it's beauty,
surrounded by clear water and fine beaches. Local activities
include, golf, sailing, riding, windsurfing, coastal walks,
birdwatching and cruises to the Isle of May.
So
castaway your cares and discover what the Crusoe Hotel has
to offer.
