Spectacularly
located on the banks of the River Clyde in the heart of a unique
world heritage village, the New Lanark Mill Hotel is close to
Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Unlike
any other in Scotland, the hotel was originally an 18th century
cotton mill, restored and imaginatively developed to offer an
unforgettable experience. Many of the public areas reflect the
heritage of New Lanark with a subtle mill theme.
Each
of the 38 bedrooms has a stunning view, and is spaciously designed,
combining original architectural features - like Georgian windows
and barrel vault ceilings - with every comfort and convenience.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms and other amenities such as
telephone and television.
The
attractively furnished restaurant offers a variety of menus using
the freshest local and Scottish produce. Conferences, weddings
and private functions for up to 200 guests are catered for in
the Robert Owen Room.
Free
car parking is available for hotel patrons adjacent to the New
Lanark Mill Hotel.
All
public areas of the hotel are accessible to disabled visitors.
The Bar and Reception lounge are on the ground floor. The restaurant
and function suite are accessible via lifts. There are disabled
lavatories adjacent to the bar, and the Robert Owen Room. Five
of the bedrooms have facilities specially adapted for disabled
guests.
