The
Royal Aberdeen Golf Club was established in 1780. This historic
wind swept links course was one of the first five golf clubs in
existence.
The
course is 6372 yards in length with a challenging par of 70 for
the experienced golfer to aim for. From the club house breathtaking
panoramic views of the North Sea Coast cumulate in the beautiful
downhill approach to the first green.
There
are many vantage points on the course where players have the opprtunity
to look over the massive sand bills and the sheltered valleys
through which many holes run, over the bright yellow whins and
the deep colour of the heather to the 18-mile stretch of fine
sandy shore reaching away to the north.
All
in all this is an unmissable course for any serious golf lover
with its extraordinary views, challenging dunes and gorse and
extremes of elevation. This course is simply a golfer's delight.
