Fota Island sits tranquilly in Cork Harbour just a few minutes from the Airport and car ferry terminal. Sister course of Mount Juliet and very much a traditional golf course. It will host the Murphy's Irish Open in late June 2001 and 2002.

The clubhouse has been created from an old stone farm buildings in keeping with the ambiance of Fota. Features include a ground level bar called Spikes, fully stocked pro shop and attractive lounges and locker rooms .

Niblicks restaurant overlooks the 18th green. The course itself is an impressive par 71,and is complemented by attractive chipping and putting greens, impressive driving range and you can hire golf clubs, power buggies and pull trolleys. Visitors welcome every day.
