Founded
in 1977 by Lord and Lady Moyola, Moyola Park Golf Club is set
in the beautiful wooded parkland of Shanemullagh, a Georgian House
occupying 130 acres.
A
golf designer's dream, it has been transformed into the present
course by well-known Ulster golfer Don Patterson and Landscape
Architect Alan Smith, who have succeeded in blending the layout
of the course with the rural parkland location.
The
friendly atmosphere caters for all the needs of today's golfer,
ranging from the challenging 18 hole par 71 golf course to the
provision of leisure, restaurant, conference and a wealth of nearby
accommodation facilities.
Visitors are welcomed at this warmly hospitable club on weekdays
and on Sundays after 1.30 pm but pre-booking is always advisable.
A handicap certificate is also preferred. Societies are welcomed
with previous bookings made via the office.
