Recently
confirmed as one of Ireland's premier golfing venues having hosted
the 1997 Guardian Irish Open, this magnificent course is set within
the 560 acre Luttrellstown Castle estate located only 15 minutes
drive from Dublin's city centre.
The course is bounded by mature woods and has panoramic views
over the Liffey Valley and Dublin Mountains. The course is always
presented to a high standard, enjoys excellent natural drainage
and is playable 12 months of the year. Watch out for Luttrellstown's
"Amen Corner" which runs from the 12th to the 15th holes.
The clubhouse has a well-stocked pro-shop and serves excellent
food. For those wishing to stay nearby, the estate offers a number
of well-appointed self-catering cottages, which are ideal for
golfing groups.
