Rathsallagh
is a magnificent course set on 252 acres of rolling parkland with
thousands of mature trees, lakes, streams and excellent U.S.G.A
specified greens. The course has been highly acclaimed by the
golfing press: "Augusta without the Azalea - as good a layout
and challenge as you will find anywhere in Irish Golf" (John Redmond).
Designed by Peter McEvoy and Christy O'Connor Junior, Rathsallagh
is demanding yet fair and in the words of O'Connor "a true championship
course". Rathsallagh prides itself on its extremely high maintenance
standards, which enables play throughout the year.
The clubhouse has a well-stocked shop and serves top class food.
In addition Rathsallagh boasts the Brendan McDaid Golf Academy
with facilities such as pitching and putting greens, driving range
and the latest A Star computer aided coaching and teaching system.
